Over the years, there has been a growing demand for quality assisted living care. A driving factor of this demand is the increase of those in the Baby Boomer generation reaching retirement age. While housing units continue to be added, offering even more senior housing options for those entering retirement, occupancy rates dropped significantly during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, as the population continues to be inoculated, a growth has been seen in senior housing occupancy, including assisted living.
